Jordan Love (QB - GB) vs Dallas Cowboys
To put it plainly, the Cowboys' defense can’t stop ANYBODY. They allowed over 31 points to Russell Wilson, who just got benched. Love will throw for 300 yards and 3+ touchdowns against Dallas.
Justin Fields (QB - NYJ) vs Miami Dolphins
Fields looked amazing against the Steelers in week one, then looked awful against the Bills. Luckily, the optimal remedy for his concussion is facing a defense that has allowed the second-most points to quarterbacks so far this year. If he is on waivers, pick him up for this week.
Daniel Jones (QB - IND) vs Los Angeles Rams
Jones had his first mediocre performance in week three after being a top-seven quarterback in weeks one and two. That was mainly because the Titans could not stop Jonathan Taylor whatsoever, and the Colts simply ran the ball down their throats. The Rams have a very good rush defense, which should bode well for an Indiana Jones rebound this week.
Geno Smith (QB - LV) vs Chicago Bears
The Bears have been a blessing for quarterbacks facing them this year, allowing an average of 24 points. Smith has looked great in two of three games this season, and this should be another good performance.
Patrick Mahomes (QB - KC) vs Baltimore Ravens
After watching Monday Night Football, it’s clear to me that there are serious problems with the Ravens' defense. They couldn’t stop the Lions at all, with Goff throwing basically wherever he wanted. Kansas City has had Baltimore’s number the last few years, and that should continue this Sunday. With this matchup and Wrothy returning, expect fireworks from Patrick Mahomes.
Bo Nix (QB - DEN) vs Cincinnati Bengals
Frankly, the Bengals can’t do anything without Joe Burrow. They had five turnovers last week and made Carson Wentz look like a good quarterback in 2025. Nix and the Broncos should have their way with the Bengals' defense, and I wouldn’t be surprised if they score 40.
Sit 'Em
Dak Prescott (QB - DAL) vs Green Bay Packers
The Packers have given quarterbacks a very tough time this season, allowing just over 12 PPG to the position. This week, Dak has to face them without his top target, Ceedee Lamb. Though he will likely be throwing the rock a bunch, I’m scared of turnovers in this matchup.
Jared Goff (QB - DET) vs Cleveland Browns
So far this year, the Lions offense has been extremely run-heavy. I don’t see why that would change against the Browns, who have an offense that can’t put anything on the scoreboard.
Trevor Lawrence (QB - JAX) vs San Francisco 49ers
Heading into this season, I was high on Trevor Lawrence and thought he would be a viable fantasy quarterback. That was before I saw how much damage Jacksonville's Passing Game Coordinator Shane Waldron would do to their offense. Against a star-studded defense, sit Trevor.
Justin Herbert (QB - LAC) vs New York Giants
This is my hot take for the week. Herbert has been amazing this season, and I think he will still be efficient in this matchup. However, I see him handing the ball off more than he passes in this game, as the Giants’ run defense is worse than their secondary. I could be very wrong, and Jaxson Dart could have five turnovers that turn into Herbert touchdowns, but I’d rather start a Jordan Love or Daniel Jones over Herbert this week.
Kyler Murray (QB - ARI) vs Seattle Seahawks
The only thing going right on offense right now for the Cardinals is Trey McBride. Outside of him, it’s been a rough operation. The Seahawks' defense has come together nicely under mastermind Mike Macdonald and presents a big challenge for Murray and company.

Jordan Mason (RB - MIN) vs Pittsburgh Steelers
Mason delivered without splitting opportunities with Aaron Jones against the Bengals, rushing for 116 yards and two touchdowns on 16 carries. His pathway for an RB1 finish remains easy against the Steelers. Pittsburgh has allowed the ninth-most rushing yards to opposing running backs, and the Vikings should be in a positive game script. Mason has a likely chance of replicating his success in a three-down workload against an underwhelming Steelers’ defense.
Omarion Hampton (RB - LAC) vs New York Giants
Najee Harris’ season-ending Achilles injury propelled Hampton into a true workhorse running back, and against Denver, we saw exactly what the rookie running back can provide in that role. The 22-year-old running back took 19 carries for 70 yards and a rushing touchdown, and caught six of seven targets for an additional 59 yards. Despite having a stout defensive line, the Giants have allowed 153.3 rushing yards per game, ranking 31st in the NFL. The Chargers have been an aggressive passing offense, but in a game where Los Angeles could build a commanding lead, expect Hampton to see plenty of opportunities in the run game.
Treveyon Henderson (RB - NE) vs Carolina Panthers
It is time for the Patriots coaching staff to promote Henderson’s role in the offense. Rhomandre Stevenson and Antonio Gibson combined for three fumbles lost last week in a game New England should have won. If Henderson is given more opportunities, he is going to produce against the Carolina Panthers, who are allowing 5.4 yards per carry this season. Henderson has been a bit underwhelming as a between-the-tackles runner, but he will be rushing through massive gaps against the Panthers if given the chance. In addition, Henderson is an elite pass catcher out of the backfield.
Trey Benson (RB - ARI) vs Seattle Seahawks
Benson is another running back who will benefit from an unfortunate injury to his running mate. James Conner suffered a season-ending ankle injury against the 49ers, shifting the Cardinals’ backfield to Benson. The 23-year-old running back is going to succeed solely on volume, but he has shown he does not need many carries to produce (Week 1 - 69 rushing yards on eight carries, Week 3 - 42 rushing yards on 10 carries). Inheriting the three-down workload, Benson should take advantage of Seattle’s middle-of-the-pack run defense. The third-year running back is a safe RB2 option in Week 4.
Josh Jacobs (RB - GB) vs Dallas Cowboys
Do not let Week 3 sway you from starting Jacobs in an advantageous matchup against the Cowboys. Unlike Cleveland, Dallas’ defense is putrid, and the 27-year-old running back should find paydirt at least once. After rushing for only 30 yards on 16 attempts against the Browns, Jacobs is a prime bounce-back candidate in Week 4.
Sit 'Em
Tony Pollard (RB - TEN) vs Houston Texans
Pollard saved his fantasy day against the Indianapolis Colts with a one-yard touchdown. Other than that, the 28-year-old running back was underwhelming in Tennessee's lackluster offense, rushing for 45 yards on 16 carries and catching two passes for 14 yards. The Texans do not have many things going for them so far, but their defense is an elite unit and should have no issue containing the Titans’ offense. Cam Ward is unwilling to check the ball down to Pollard, which lowers the veteran running back’s already steep floor.
Chase Brown (RB - CIN) vs Denver Broncos
The Bengals cannot escape disappointment, and Brown is no exception. The 25-year-old running back has taken 47 carries for 93 (1.9 yards per carry) through three weeks. In addition, Chase is not contributing in the pass game, securing eight passes for 43 yards in the same span. The Broncos are allowing the 10th most fantasy points to opposing running backs, but it will not matter if the Bengals cannot move the ball through the air. Cincinnati will likely be playing catch-up, and Brown’s effectiveness and production will be limited.
Travis Etienne Jr. (RB - JAX) vs San Francisco 49ers
Etienne Jr. will continue to split opportunities with Bhayshul Tuten, which will cap his weekly upside. The 26-year-old running back has scored in each of the last two weeks, but that success can be stifled against a 49ers defense that’s only given up 238 yards and one touchdown to running backs this season.
Javonte Williams (RB - DAL) vs Green Bay Packers
Williams only needed 10 carries to produce 76 yards against the Chicago Bears last week, but he will face a tougher test in Dallas’ Week 4 matchup. The Packers are allowing the sixth-fewest fantasy points to opposing running backs this season. The Cowboys could find themselves in a pass-heavy game script, which spells bad news for Williams’ expectations this week. Williams is RB6 on the season, but his ranking will take a dip after Sunday night.
Cam Skattebo (RB - NYG) vs Los Angeles Chargers
After Tyron Tracy exited the Giants’ Week 3 game against the Kansas City Chiefs, Skattebo showed why he has become a fan favorite. The rookie running back ran for 61 yards and one touchdown on six carries and caught six passes for 61 yards. However, Russell Wilson is no longer the starting quarterback, and those checkdown options will not be available as often with Jaxson Dart taking over. In addition, the Chargers’ run defense is allowing the fourth fewest fantasy points to opposing running backs. Skattebo will see ample opportunities, but the volume will not translate to production.

Matthew Golden (WR - GB) vs Dallas Cowboys
In Week 3, Golden led the Packers with 52 yards on four catches. It was a solid performance for the rookie, but this week will be the true breakout game for the rookie wideout. The former Texas receiver is a vertical threat who could break a couple of big plays against a Cowboys secondary that concedes 12.7 yards per target to wideouts this season. Dallas’ pass defense is allowing 300 passing yards per game, and Golden will be a beneficiary of a porous secondary on Sunday night.
Ricky Pearsall (WR - SF) vs Jacksonville Jaguars
As long as Pearsall is healthy, he should universally be in lineups every week. With George Kittle, Jauan Jennings, Brandon Aiyuk, and Demarcus Robinson out last week, the second-year receiver racked up eight receptions on 11 targets for 117 yards. With Brock Purdy potentially back in the starting lineup, Pearsall should find even more success this week against a Jaguars defense allowing the sixth most fantasy points to receivers so far in 2025. Pearsall is a great flex play who could be a top 10 wide receiver in Week 4.
Quentin Johnston (WR - LAC) vs New York Giants
At this point, Johnston is an auto start until further notice. Through three weeks, the third-year wideout has accumulated 14 receptions for 239 yards and three touchdowns on 24 targets. Johnston supplies significant upside in what figures to be a favorable matchup against the Giants, who just gave up 71 yards and one touchdown to Tyquan Thornton in Week 3. The Chargers have been a pass-heavy offense this season, and that trend is expected to continue against New York.
Rome Odunze (WR - CHI) vs Las Vegas Raiders
Odunze has officially cemented himself as the Bears’ WR1, leading the team in targets (27), receptions (16), yards (227), and touchdowns (4) through the first three weeks. The 2024 first-round pick carries that impressive production profile into a matchup against a relatively weak Raiders’ pass defense, which allows nine yards per target to opposing receivers.
Courtland Sutton (WR - DEN) vs Cincinnati Bengals
After being a non-factor against the Colts in Week 2, Sutton returned to his usual spot as the Broncos’ leading pass-catcher in a tough loss to the Chargers last week. The 29-year-old wideout led Denver with six receptions for 118 yards and one touchdown. That production came against an elite defense. Sutton will be a high-end WR2 in Week 4 against a dreadful Bengals defense.
Sit 'Em
Tee Higgins (WR - CIN) vs Denver Broncos
Joe Burrow being out for essentially the entire season hurts one more from a fantasy perspective than Higgins. The 26-year-old receiver caught one of two targets for 15 yards last week against the Minnesota Vikings. This week’s matchup doesn't get any easier, with a road date against the Broncos on primetime. Jake Browning is an obvious downgrade from Burrow, and with Ja’Marr Chase as the top target in the passing game, Higgins will continue to be overlooked. Avoid starting Higgins against Denver’s seventh-ranked defense, which allows fantasy points per game to wide receivers.
Brian Thomas Jr. (WR - JAX) vs San Francisco 49ers
Despite being one of the most targeted receivers in the league, Thomas Jr. has failed to surpass 8.5 points in half-PPR formats. The second-year wideout has caught 28% of his targets this season, which is a reflection of Trevor Lawrence’s inability to deliver accurate passes consistently. Thomas Jr. faces a daunting matchup against the 49ers’ fifth-ranked pass defense. You should not expect things to turn around for the Jaguars’ passing offense for the next few weeks.
Zay Flowers (WR - BAL) vs Kansas City Chiefs
After commanding 20 targets in the first two weeks, Flowers was limited to two catches for 13 yards on three targets in Week 3 against the Detroit Lions. These struggles could carry over into this upcoming week against a stifling Chiefs’ pass defense. Steve Spagnuolo tends to take away the opponent’s best pass catcher, and Flowers will be the main focus for Kansas City’s pass defense. The Chiefs will either execute this game plan by either doubling the 25-year-old wideout or assigning lockdown corner Trent McDuffie as a shadow defensive back. Flowers will have better days, but Sunday will not be one of them.
Marvin Harrison Jr. (WR - ARI) vs Seattle Seahawks
Take a break from Harrison Jr. for a week and see what he does on your bench. If he plays well, he plays well, but fantasy owners need to give themselves a healthy distance from the second-year wideout in Week 4. Depending on struggling players in Thursday night games is a scary proposition. Seattle’s secondary is banged up, but Harrison Jr. is too much of a boom-or-bust player at this point and cannot be trusted for the time being.
D.K. Metcalf (WR - PIT) vs Minnesota Vikings
Over the past two weeks, Metcalf has caught six passes for 52 yards and two touchdowns. The 27-year-old receiver is touchdown dependent, and even then, he has barely produced double-digit outputs the last couple of weeks. Next on tap is a Vikings’ defense that held Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins to six catches for 65 yards on a combined eight targets. Metcalf is in danger of being a major disappointment this week unless he can save his day with a touchdown, but don’t bank on it.

Hunter Henry (TE - NE) vs Carolina Panthers
Despite Hunter Henry being so boom or bust in his entire career, he had an excellent game against the Steelers in Week 3. He is getting targeted frequently in the end zone, and Carolina ranks 25th against tight ends in the first three weeks.
T.J. Hockenson (TE - MIN) vs Pittsburgh Steelers
Carson Wentz targeted Hockenson significantly more, especially in the red zone, where most of his points came from. The Vikings face off against the Steelers, who have allowed an average of 18.77 points to tight ends. Look for Hockenson to put up another solid performance.
Kyle Pitts Sr. (TE - ATL) vs Washington Commanders
I’m so happy that I can put him on this list. Although not the productive Kyle Pitts we hoped for, he has been serviceable, and his Week 3 performance of 12.9 points was a welcome sight. He plays a Commanders defense that allows the 23rd most points to tight ends. Pitts had a healthy eight targets in Week 3 and is averaging over six targets per game.
Jake Ferguson (TE - DAL) vs Green Bay Packers
Ferguson is the Tight End 1 in fantasy. With Ceedee Lamb going down, he emerges as a premier option in this group, going against a Packers defense that allows 16.17 points to tight ends.
Brenton Strange (TE - JAX) vs San Francisco 49ers
In a Jaguars offense that seems disorganized and disappointing, Strange is getting a decent amount of looks. He has yet to score a touchdown, which is big, but he had seven targets last week and still finished with 12.1 points. He’s going to score eventually, and is facing a 49ers defense that is 20th in points allowed to tight ends.
Sit 'Em
Jonnu Smith (TE - PIT) vs Minnesota Vikings
Smith was a fantasy superstar last year with Miami, but can’t be trusted this year as he’s still competing with Pat Freiermuth. His target share has decreased over the past three weeks. Without a touchdown, he’s boom or bust, and I wouldn’t trust that against a solid Vikings defense.
Zach Ertz (TE - WAS) vs Atlanta Falcons
Ertz showed us why he’s touchdown dependent in Week 3, only grabbing 6.8 points. With Marcus Mariota targeting him less, I would wait until Jayden Daniels is back in the lineup. Oh, and the Falcons are allowing only 3.60 points to tight ends.
Dalton Schultz (TE - HOU) vs Tennessee Titans
I know the matchup seems enticing, but I don’t trust Schultz. Schultz hasn’t gone over 40 yards in a single contest.
Dallas Goedert (TE - PHI) vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Goedert has only played twice in three weeks, but averaged above 10 fantasy points in both matchups. However, his targets are too volatile for me to recommend starting him. He had 7 in his first game and 2 in his last game. This Eagles team is not passing the ball enough to give him fantasy relevance.
Harold Fannin (TE - CLE) vs Detroit Lions
Mark Andrews just torched this defense, but Fannin is the second option in this tight end room, and his usage has gone down significantly through 3 weeks. David Njoku has emerged as the TE1 again.

Chargers D/ST vs New York Giants
An already dominant defensive unit that is opposite a rookie quarterback.

Ravens D/ST vs Kansas City Chiefs
After getting torn apart by the Lions this past week, it’s going to be much of the same in an inevitable shootout.
Bengals D/ST vs Denver Broncos
Don’t expect a bounce back after a rough Week 3 performance; the Bengals are one of the weakest defensive units and won’t capitalize against a high-flying Broncos offense.
