Players with the Best Fantasy Football Playoff Schedules

With the NFL coming to a close soon, passing us by in a flash, the Fantasy Football Trade Deadline is coming up for us, or already passed. Either way, in this article, I’m going to help you look for the best players to start and win you your Fantasy Football Playoffs and take home 1st place gold.

Quarterbacks:

1. Brock Purdy

  • Week 15- TEN

  • Week 16- IND

  • Week 17- CHI

Purdy has been relatively quiet in the first half of the season, but has been solid coming back. He gets a great schedule with the Titans, which gives up the 7th-most points to QBs. While Indianapolis is middle of the pack, in Week 17, he gets the Chicago Bears. The Bears are allowing 21.62 points to opposing quarterbacks on average per game.

2. Marcus Mariota/Jayden Daniels

  • Week 15- NYG

  • Week 16- PHI

  • Week 17- DAL

Regardless of who starts, this is a great option, and if Mariota starts, he’s a great deeper league option to start. The Giants are ranked 2nd-worst in the league, allowing 21.2 fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks. They also have Dallas in Week 17, which is dead last against quarterbacks, allowing more than 22 fantasy points per game.

Running Backs:

1. Derrick Henry

  • Week 15- CIN

  • Week 16- NE

  • Week 17- GB

Playing against Cincinnati’s run defense in Week 15 is a fantastic matchup for Derrick Henry owners. They also played Green Bay in Week 17, which has gotten progressively worse against the run, allowing 85 yards per game to backs.

2. TreVeyon Henderson

  • Week 15- BUF

  • Week 16- BAL

  • Week 17- NYJ

I know that Rhamondre Stevenson is back, but after Henderson’s stunning two weeks of starting, he’s going to lead the way for this Patriots backfield. He faces three bottom-ten rush defenses in the league. He starts your playoffs with the Bills, who allow an average of 22.21 fantasy points per game to running backs. They have allowed 15 total touchdowns from RBs.

Wide Receivers:

1. Jaylen Waddle

  • Week 15- PIT

  • Week 16- CIN

  • Week 17- TB

The great thing about Waddle is that his volume is improving. He’s been targeted more than 7 times in his last four games with a 35% target share in Week 11. He faces the bottom-ranked pass defense in Pittsburgh, which allows 23.40 points per game and nine touchdowns this season. Then he’ll play two bottom-tier defenses: Cincinnati, which allows 133 yards per game, and the Buccaneers, who allow 160 yards per game.

2. Stefon Diggs

  • Week 15- BUF

  • Week 16- BAL

  • Week 17- NYJ

Despite playing a tougher defense in the first round against Buffalo, he has the Ravens in Week 16, who allow 21 points and 156 yards to wide receivers, which is 7th-worst in the league. Then, in Week 17, he faces a Jets team that traded away its top defensive back, Sauce Gardner.

Tight Ends:

1. Mark Andrews

  • Week 15- CIN

  • Week 16- NE

  • Week 17- GB

Andrews has benefited most from Lamar Jackson’s return, recording three straight games with touchdowns. He also has a 29% red zone target share. He has an excellent playoff schedule, playing the Bengals first, who have allowed three touchdowns in their last five games and averaged 6.8 receptions in their last 5. They also play the Patriots, who are allowing 10.2 yards per reception and 64.2 yards per game on average.

2. Brenton Strange

  • Week 15- NYJ

  • Week 16- DEN

  • Week 17- IND

Since Strange returned from injury, he’s been a target machine, which is a tight end’s dream. He’s averaging five targets in the three games that he’s played in since coming back. He has also been highly efficient, with a reception percentage above 65%. In Week 16, he has the Jets, who have been terrible since the trade deadline. Then they have Denver, who give up more than 62 yards per game to tight ends. And finally, they get the Colts, who also allow 68 yards per game to tight ends.
